5th ODI: India beat New Zealand to win series 3-2


Amit Mishra produced a magical spell to claim 5 for 18 as India clinched five-match ODI series 3-2 with a thumping 190-run victory in the final game as it was also India’s biggest ODI win in terms of runs against this very team.

India completely dominated the fifth and final one-day international in Visakhapatnam as the spinners ran through the New Zealand line-up to win the match by massive margin of 190 runs and seal the series 3-2.

New Zealand were bundled for mere 79, while India posted a challenging total of 269 for the loss of seven wickets. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma saw India thrash New Zealand by 190 runs in the fifth and final One-Day International (ODI). Mishra returning figures of 5-18.
